Venus & Her Old Het Men is a light look at the Goddess of Equilibrium & Love. How do you love? The Greek language has nearly 100 words for love.
Is your love familiar? Is it ‘brotherly’ or ‘sisterly’? Is it unconditional and accepting? Or is it erotic and passionate?
This presentation will be centered around asking questions for you to contemplate. Imagine your love is like a Cauldron and you are a medieval alchemist–what ingredients do you combine? How does your love taste?
We will start with Venus-Aphrodite. We will examine the mythology of the ‘foam born’ Goddess. Her Old Men (of which there are too many to cover) created many of our stories of gender, heterosexuality and a binary of ‘mother’ or ‘virgin’ Goddesses.
Beyond or trans-time & space to continue to divide our harmonizing energies in such a manner. Know where Venus and Her Old Men may merge, and transcend to create a consciousness of inclusivity of the multidimensional manners of loving and being loved–just in time for Venus to spend four months in our fourth chakra–that Leo represents. We’re going to get all dressed up in love–doesn’t that sound delightful and joyous? Venus in Leo would have it no other way!

Every equinox and solstice we contemplate these 12 pillars. These pillars are Mentors, Music, Food, Ignorance, Emotions, Listening, Values & Ideals, Conflict, Intention, Resources, Alignment with Intentions and Wholeness. Each pillar has a week dedicated to it where we breathe, drink water and align physically while contemplating the pillar.
