In this lecture Regina Compernolle will talk about engaging the energetics of astrology for engaging the internal archetypes of the planets and making herbal medicine. She’ll touch on herbs corresponding to body systems, planets and signs and using herbs to activate and balance the planets in the chart. Hands-on interaction and approaching plants as beings are key to understanding the energetics of herbs. We’ll discuss how to match herbs to the archetypes of the planets to balance the energy in the chart and make medicine in alignment with the solar and lunar cycles. We’ll experience a shamanic meditation to go within to access our connection to plant and planet.
Bio
Regina Compernolle is the owner of Sacred Earth Arts in Kansas City, Kansas, where she teaches classes in astrology and herbalism. She has been an herbalist and astrologer for over 30 years. Her interest in alchemical shamanism led to the integration of both worlds. Regina has studied astrology personally with Demetra George, Deva Green and Sajah Popham. Her herbal studies include many of the top herbalists of the day. As an herbalist, she’s always had an intuitive, energetic connection to plants and their uses. As an astrologer, she’s worked primarily with archetypes to tell the story of the planets and their interactions in the chart adding shamanic techniques to deepen the inner communication with the planets and plant allies. She works with solar and lunar cycles to create medicine that embodies the energy of the signs that can be used medicinally and energetically.
