Eclipse Night

LocationCommunity Christian Church

We are meeting at the church and there is no charge for this workshop. Everyone is welcome.

Eclipses are mundane events. They affect populations on the larger stage. Strong personal reactions to an eclipse will depend on the natal chart and its integration with the degree of a particular eclipse.

Michael Erlewine suggests that to take proper advantage of an eclipse is to create a meditative space where one can receive the “communal message” that is the theme of the eclipse. He calls it a “vision of the eclipse”.

This eclipse falls in the ninth house in the sign of Aries at 19 degrees locally at 1:21 pm. It is joined by Chiron. According to Charles Leadbetter in 1731, “the effects are likely to fall on Churchmen and travelers beyond the sea. Mars is the lord of the eclipse, and he flies up bold and resolute, in confident and violent actions on the stage of the world.”

This eclipse is connected to Chiron conjunct to the minute and Mars is applying to Saturn in the 8th house, close by degree.

The whispered connotation for this configuration is a bit dark.

Mars tends to do its business early, so by the time we meet Monday evening, whatever drama does unfold will probably have manifested as the moon will have moved past its eclipse position. It will be applying to Mercury in the 7th house, so let’s get together and talk about it.

We will review the Soros cycle for this eclipse and look at some individual charts so bring yours.

If you are lucky enough to have made plans to travel to view this eclipse, have fun. We will see you next month.
