The AOA is pleased to host Zane Stein at our October meeting. He will talk about his research into the meaning of Chiron.
CHIRON – FORTY YEARS LATER
Astrologers began calling Chiron ‘The Wounded Healer’ only months after its’ discovery. More than forty years have passed and we’ve learned that it is much more than that. Zane will discuss how our understanding of Chiron has evolved, and why it is an indispensable astrological tool.
Zane B. Stein pioneered research into Chiron, and is considered the leading authority on the minor planet. His book, “Essence and Application: A View From Chiron”, is still the most widely read text on the subject. He is currently seeking to unravel the meanings of other Centaurean bodies and the Trans-Neptunians. He began studying astrology in 1969, and has shared his astrological knowledge giving lectures throughout the USA, in Canada, Great Britain and Ireland. He has also lectured throughout Australia, where he now lives with his wife Lynette Malone, who has opened a school of astrology in the Perth area. He can be reached by e-mail at: zanestein@ zanestein.com or by snail mail at: 3 Kent St., Victoria Park 6100, Western Australia, and you can read about his ongoing research on his website: www.zanestein.com/Chiron.htm.
