Parking at the event, inside the park, is $5 per automobile so ride sharing is recommended. You will be charged the parking fee at the entrance. Parking is at the shelter area. DO NOT PARK ON THE GRASS!
The shelter site offers a privy, fresh running water, and electricity if we need it.
YOU ABSOLUTELY MUST PREPAY.
We cannot accept money at the event.
1. The event will fill up and it’s first come first served.
2. We aren’t staffed to take money on the day. We want to enjoy the event too.
3. We don’t want to keep cash onsite.
4. The park doesn’t allow selling tickets anyway.
SO NO KIDDING, PREPAYMENT FOR EVENT TICKETS ONLINE OR BY CHECK IS A MUST!
The ticket price covers:
- A pair of eclipse glasses for you to keep.
- A cold beer on a hot day.
- Plenty of cold bottled water.
- Light lunchy munchies. Nothing heavy, complicated, or distracting from the event itself.
- And of course, sharing this magical event with a great group of people in Paradise.
And a very special new moon meditation.
Patricia Sneed will lead the meditation at eclipse time. The meditation will help to utilize the energy to clear our body, mind and emotions. Then we will reset the thoughts and energies for what we want to manifest. We fill realigned and reset by it in the end.
The meditation will take place at the bandstand. Everyone who would like to participate is welcome.
The August solar eclipse is occurring between 1 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.
The event is scheduled to last from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
NOTE: If you stay in the park later than 2 p.m. (and you are welcome to-we have it reserved all day) you must leave the area the way you found it. Clean as a whistle. No one will be there to clean up after 2.
